Del corazón de los jóvenes: What Latino teens are saying about love and relationships (2008)
Rarely are teens themselves asked to share their thoughts and beliefs about issues that affect them. Del corazón de los jóvenes—which in English roughly translates to “youth speak from the heart”—gives both teens and parents a snapshot of what Latino teens themselves say about relationships. This document is based on findings from a nationally-representative survey of Latino teens and adults, focus groups with Latino teens, and research previously published by The National Campaign.

Families Talking Together: Creating Healthy Family Conversations to Prevent Teen Pregnancy: Community Health Worker Curriculum
This curriculum will teach community health workers/promotores de salud how to educate Latino parents in delivering an evidence-based teen pregnancy prevention intervention. Both the curriculum and the intervention are available online in English and Spanish. The Families Talking Together curriculum is available here. Toward a Common Future: Latino Teens and Adults Speak Out About Teen Pregnancy (2009)
Given the high rates of Latina teen pregnancy and the incredible diversity of the Latino community, many researchers and service providers have identified a need for more specific information on the many subgroups that compose the Latino population to better address the needs of the community. For this and other reasons, The National Campaign and the National Council of La Raza (NCLR) commissioned this nationally representative survey of Latino youth and adults.

Voices Heard: Latino Adults and Teens Speak Up About Teen Pregnancy (2007)
Teen pregnancy and birth rates among all teens have declined by about one-third since the early 1990s. Even so, the Latino teen pregnancy rate is almost twice the national average and has declined about half as fast as the national rate according to a new summary analysis prepared by The National Campaign.

Demasiado Joven (2013)
This 5 minute video, originally released in 2011 and updated with new data in 2013, is an informative, candid, emotionally hopeful, and uplifting look at teen pregnancy in the Latino community, as told by Latino teen parents. It show s how teen pregnancy is connected to other social issues and is a powerful discussion-starter.

The Diffusion of Effective Behavioral Interventions project (DEBI)
The Diffusion of Effective Behavioral Interventions (DEBI) project was designed to bring science-based, community, group, and individual-level HIV prevention interventions to community-based service providers and state and local health departments. The following program mentioned in the DEBI database was tested on target populations that include but not limited to Latinos.

A Question of Hope
This Telly-Award Winning 22-minute video was created by The Bixby Center for Global Reproductive Health and the Center on Social Disparities in Health. The video highlights that the future of young Latinas is part of the picture in addressing teen pregnancy. Without hope and with many barriers to overcome, the future presents minimal opportunities for young Latinas apart from early motherhood. A Spanish version of the video is also available.

Real Life. Real Talk. Hablemos con la verdad
Sex Ed for Parents is a free course on teen romance, sex, and friendships in the 21st century. It offers parents a glimpse into the reality of teen life and provides expert advice on communication so that parents can keep their children safe. The course is offered in Spanish and English. The overall program was evaluated, but not specifically for Latino parents.

Talk with your Kids/Hable con sus Hijos
This parent guide was developed by Children Now and The Kaiser Family Foundation. The guide provides tips and techniques to help parents talk easily and openly with young children ages 8 to 12 about some very tough topics. While the guide wasn’t specifically created for Latinos, it is available in Spanish.
