In October 2007, The National Campaign; Montgomery College; and the Montgomery County Collaboration Council for Children, Youth and Families cohosted a Town Hall Forum on Planning Your Future – A Discussion about Sex, Pregnancy and Parenthood. Participants and attendees included elected officials, college students, and leaders from the health care, education, non-profit, and government sectors.
The purpose of the event was stimulate interest and understanding of the reasons behind unplanned pregnancy for young adults and to explore possible remedies and solutions.
